I really enjoyed the game quite a lot. Presentation is wonderful in particular. I feel like there's a lot of interesting gambling and decisions to be made for the ingredients, though I feel like 22 silver per is just a little bit overly difficult, particularly when cops are involved and you have to avoid alcohol entirely. I also felt the first day was especially tough too, before you have any upgrades, and the unlocks I got ended up being a lot of duplicate ingredients. Overall, fantastic entry, though!
Yes, adding the alcohol for many ingredients was not balanced. We will fix it as other things we found by other feedbacks.
By the way, the 22 silvers is quite enough for us, we tested it. But it make sense to add the difficulty level and this amount of silver move to the "normal" or "difficult" one.
I really liked this! The gameplay is fun, the art and music are great, the Hanna Barbera sound for the barrel is funny, but if you're going to release the game you're going to have to change it unless you have the rights to use it, maybe it's public domain, i dunno, but otherwise great work
Holy shit this game is amazing, this is a finished game! The art is gorgeous and the game play is nice, the animations are fun. The music and audio is also very well done. Honestly this is probably the best game I've played in the game jam so far. Well done! You guys should really be proud!
